Well that got yout attention. ;)

But the doc office called this am and asked me if I wanted to come if got an appointement at 11 today. So I went.

Here is what he is says... And this is the Doc that Greg here in Vegas refered me to cause he is Greg's doc and understands clusters. But he says that I cant have clusters because they have not stopped so it cant be CH if it is Chronic. "If they dont stop then they would call them something else. That is why they are called Cluster HA cause there is a break in the cycle" So I guess I am the first person he has ever seen that is not eposodic.

He put me back on
Neurontin 600mg (300 am / 300 pm)
Inderal 80mg ( I begged him for Verap, but he said he wanted me to stay on what I had been on even though it was not makeing any difference in my HA, that we dont want to change more then one med at a time)
Replax Tabs ( Bah guess my hubby will have them for Migraines. I asked the phamisist if they work as slow as the Trex tabs and he said yes. And I get a whole 6 a month for 30 day)

But I did get my referal for the Neuro. So now I have to see how soon they can get me in. I am going to start calling them Monday (even though I am supposed to wait 5 days to give the doc time to fax the referal). Crossing my fingers that I will get a doc who has a fucking clue.

Tia, can you get me an e-mail address or a mailing address for this clown? I'll send him some information to ~~show him what a dumba$s he is~~ better educate him on CH. Better yet, maybe OUCH could send him an informational educational package with the info about chronic clusters highlighted.

If he is doing this to you, then he will be doing it to others. We need to correct this situation every time it occurs.

Well, you're getting to the neuro sooner than you thought you would, on the bright side anyway. Things seem to be moving slowly along, but moving. Hang in Tiannia. My first appointment sucked too.

I think that all of Southwest Medical Associates (this is one of the biggest group of doctors in the City) should get something sent out to all of thier Doctors so that they all at least Hear what the fuck clusters are and that not all people fit into thier nice little check list.

Does OUCH have an informational packette that can be sent out? Probably need to post this on the OUCH Board.

Aye Kevin. At least it saved me a little time to get into a new Neuro.

Sadly, there are more and more Doctors and nurses who are ignorant as fuck when it comes to Clusters.
I'm surprised he didn't tell you it couldn't be Clusters because you're a woman. ::)

I am so sorry that you got a dr that wasn't knowlegeable about chronic clusters. I went 6 years without a break. Ouch definitly needs to send him some material.
