Title: Your suggestions are needed..... No Pain Involved.
Post by saintslair on Sep 9th, 2004, 8:13pm
Hi All,

I could use everyone's help. I'm fine, pain-free for the last four weeks and loving every minute of it.

I am currently working on several projects with Ozzy and Randy for OUCH and OUCH PA/NJ. I currently have another project in the works that I have been thinking about for a few years and have decided to dive into it now.   I have noticed the majority of the times I come this message board or guestbook someone is looking for a doctor, neurologist or an O2 supplier that undersatnds clusters. What I am undertaking is a website dedicated to cluster sufferers called "The Cluster Head Yellow Pages".  I have already purchased several domain names and I now in the process of laying out the web pages. This website will not be in competition with either CH.com or OUCH (No message boards).  It will be independent of CH.com and OUCH.

What I can use everyones help with a list of GPs, Neuros, etc. and O2 suppliers that understand clusters headaches and what we go through. I know there are lists on both sites but this will be a site dedicated strictly to listings of Docs, O2 suppliers, Medical suppliers and anything else that would make sense for a listing.

I am not asking anyone....... I repeat........ anyone for any money..... only information.

I don't want donations.... If you want to donate, donate to OUCH or DJ.

Besides if this thing does take off maybe I could get advertizing money from some of the drug companies.

If I get the site working the way I would like you will be able to enter your zip code and search for the Docs or suppliers in your area.

Any information or suggestions are be greatly appreciated. You can post here, email or PM me.

I added - thta the only information that will appear on the site is the docs or O2 info not the info of the person recommending them.

Sincerely,
Andrew Santos

Thank you and PFNAD to all.

My doc (he rocks):

I can't recommend O2 suppliers since I got into a dispute with my last supplier.  Right now I'm O2-less.

Thomas Freedom MD  (Neuro)
Director, Sleep Disorders Lab
Department of Neurology

Dr Freedom has been absolutely wonderful to work with.  Because he knows I am self pay with out insurance he is careful not to do tests that are only marginally needful, and he is also careful to try and keep the costs down on meds as well as he can.  He just recently took the directorship of the lab at ENH after several years at Loyola.

He is one of the few Drs that I have known who will sit down and LISTEN to all you have to say before coming to a conclusion.  Personally, I will drive whatever distance I have to to keep him.
