Title: So, how did you... Post by Gator on Sep 7th, 2004, 3:16pm ...spend your Labor Day? Some of my wife's co-workers had never tasted Cajun food before and convinced her to convince me to cook some. I spent about 7 hours in the kitchen making a Cajun feast. I made Jambalaya, Crawfish Pie, File' Gumbo, Shrimp Etouffee' and for dessert, Croquignoles. My feet and back still hurt and talk about a mess!!! I think it will take as long to clean up as it did to cook the meal, but it was goooood, yeah sha. And yes, I sang that damned song all day long. It is still ringing in my ears... Yeah I know that's not all that exciting, but we had a 10% off coupon with our local high school's football discount card! ;) Then we went and looked at some bedding choices for my bed here at school. Then I got packed up and my dad brought me back to Philly! LOL It was a pretty nice day. :) Lizzie :) |

While the girls held their revelries, I prepared a fancy dinner back on the home front. Saturday night a friend of mine - my best friend from highschool, in fact - stopped by for the night with his girlfriend as they headed out to MO. I had not seen him in close to 14 years and - here is the cool part - he found me because of my association with CH.com. The New Mexico State Fair is in full swing and we spent the rest of the weekend eating Fair-food and walking around looking at the exhibits. Hirvimaki |

When I ran out of heroin, coke, Everclear, and crank, I started huffing paint thinner and flea spray, and then huffed all the nitrous oxide out of the can of Cool Whip.
