Hurricane frances has almost finished kicking my little neck of the woods in the butt. It lasted a loooong time. My home is ok, though one of my fav trees broke in half. I hope everyone else in Florida is ok (floridian? bob kipple? sorry if I missed anyone). Anyway, these are some interesting pictures I took of my brothers neighbors house here in titusville, the back porch went up and over the house and landed in the front yard. If you look carefully you can see the porch fan under the debris. Yikes :o I hope others can check in soon.

Good to hear from you, John_D!

All is fine here. We had intermittent electricity this afternoon, but it was never out for long. But about a fifth of our region is electronless (200,000 people). Winds of 40-50 mph - just a tropical storm (still in progress, but not expected to get worse). Reports of flooding around town, but nothing nearby.

there is a clusterhead named andy I was talking to earlier this year, he lives in melbourne, hope he and his are a-ok

Glad Frances tempered her winds somewhat. I know damage is widespread, but it is real good to hear from you two coming through ok. Whew! Thanks for the updates. ;)
