OK...here we go! I know...the "I've been busy" shit doesn't cut it here..and sorry folks. Like they say....."never count your chickens before they're hatched"....well they hatched!!!!
For those of you who know me and have met me at Nashcon...love ya all...and for the newbies...love ya too.
Well...My life has been going great and my Love and commitment for my partner David is none less than wonderful....so we're going to build a life together.
Blah-Blah......well went to Florida on a mission....and mission accomplished!
We bought a small business(nicely established sandwich and ice cream joint)!!!! We happened to stumble across it in an ad in the real estate paper. So we go there...spend 3 days with the owners...and fell in love with it. Very good numbers...and traffic...and great people. So...we close on it Nov.1st. David is going down 2nd week of Sept...Im going down 2nd week of Oct. I've put my house on the market..(yes my house that belonged to George Ferris..Inventor of the Ferris Wheel for those of you who don't know that.). The biz is in Homosassa....bout 45 miles or so north of Tampa....very laid back...not too developed...and just real nice. Ive been going there for years to visit family. My dad(who passed 2 yrs ago)..and 2 of my brothers live there. I have also a brother in West Palm..and a sister in Bradenton(Sarasota)...so I'll be close to my family. They've wanted me to come there for years...they've been all down there for almost 20 years or so. I'm going to sell out my half of my biz up here to my partner Doug..(by the way...he's happy for me..and he'll be just fine....I'm sure...and so is he.). In the interim...until my house sells...we'll be staying with my brother Robert...in on of his rentals...(he's acquired a few since he's been there)...at little cost to David and I...so it's a great start for us.  We'll be looking for a house soon down there.
Hey guys....I"M EXCITED!!!! David and I are going to build a great life and business together. He wants this...I want this...we're postive about this. Alas.... not to worry....like I said Im going to busy...lot of SHIT to pack and haul...plus 2 Parrots and a Snake......are we cooked or what???  I can tell ya all now.....the Meet-n Greet is probably out of the question...but next convention(Texas right?  Hey Tracy...right????)  Well be there....cuz it'll be in the slow season for us then.
OK....question......this trip will take David and I both 2 days to travel.......SOOOOOO....I might be lookin for a place to crash on the way (hint-Hint). But we'll let ya know the route when we get a little closer.
But...that's about all from here.
Again...I Love all of you guys.....you are my family...and I wanted to be sure b4 I said anything.   Im gonna be on and off here for quite some time ...so dont get mad if ya dont see me around...but KNOW that you're all in mythoughts...prayers..and good memories.....until the next time we meet.  And when we get settled down there...we'll fire up the internet and let ya know aht the scoop is OK?
Ok...gotta go and clean shit out of my basement [smiley=laugh.gif]!!!

Maybe you could arrange to build a large roller coaster on the premises? ;;D

Hopefully I'll be getting down to visit my grandparents in Sarasota maybe around Christmas-time.  If I go down to FLA, I'll let ya know!!
