Title: Imitrex disposal
Post by don on Sep 1st, 2004, 10:20am
Need to dispose of expired or unused imitrex.

PM me.

I know of someone with a disposal addiction and she really REALLY needs some help in disposing.

Thanks
don

I have 2 or 3 dispensers (two packs) with an expiration date of 2002. US puchased.  It clearly indicates that this stuff can not be used after the expiration date.

unsolved, please PM don about the disposal problem.

To dispose of or not to despose of or what ever should probably be done privately (as in PM or email).

Disposing of prescription meds could have some legal side effects ( or is affects?)  ::)

It's jail.

Discretion is a good thing.

But I have a hard time believing that transference of trex between 2 prescription holders would bring jail time. It's not like it's a narcotic... Technically illegal yet  insignificant in the wider picture of all things illegal.

Could it be described as 2 diabetics sharing a prescription of insulin ? Would the prosecutor prosecute ?

I just said that in the other post because I view Imitrex as SO VALUEABLE that there is NO WAY I could throw any of it away. If I find a refill that has been expired for 2 years ... I'll use it when I need it !

unsolved

Jail...definately jail.  Doesn't matter what drug it is.  It's not legal.  Therefore...discretion is advised.

Being in jail makes you feel very untechnically insignificant too.

I was just following what the instructions say in the box.   Have you ever used some after the expiration date?  Over here in Italy, I pay the equivalent of $67.50 for the double dispenser.  When my friends don't hook me up.

HI. Ask to Zazi or Luciano. In Italy you can have Imitrex with about 2$$-2 shots. Sanity is 'public' in Italy (State), so if you have a prescription from your Doc-neuro you can have Imigran with about 2$$. If not, yes, you pay 60 €€.......................... Ciao, Massimo

Are you an American who lives in Italy?
Yes, in italy we don’t pay any insurance because Health is public, State. My daughter (and all CHs here) can get Imigran she needs paying 2€ a box (i.e. 2 shots). It is not difficult to get it, it is sufficient that the Neuro certifies that you have CH. If you need some help we are here for you. Valentino (Zaira's dad)

Buongiorno
I am an American who lives in Napoli.   I am NOT military. but an engineer.   I do not pay taxes to the country (Italy) so I feel I should not benifit from the free medical.   I do have many friends that from time to time have gone to their doctor, who is also mine and have him write for them a script for the Imigran injection.    I like Italy a lot and do not want to be one of those who come here and take what was meant for the people born here.
Thank you.

Ciao Zaria
Come stai.   Senti.....  I am sorry for not replying sooner.
I belive my CH cycle is over.   How long,  well I hope at least like the last time 5 years or more.  I feel for all of those not as fortunate as I am right now.  My thoughts and prayers are with you ALL.
What do you mean Italy would be better w/o Italians.  Some of my best friends are now Italians.  Yesterday (Sunday) I had the typical south Italy pranza.   We started at 1:30 and finished around 10:00.  I won't eat much now for two days.  But you know what ....I had wine.... yes fatto di casa vino and I am at work now.  My e-mail is wingodr@efamed.navfac.navy.mil
Stai bene    Dunnie

Because they meet the nicest people in the world---per me.
