Every night at about 2:30 am I am wide awake....

Nothing to do in my current state... except blabber here and watch tv.

I am feeling with ya Carl... but I don't see you here tonight. Hope you are getting some sleep.

I hope he is too Ken, but from the way things sounded earlier he may be in the hospital.

I'm not usually up at this time, but the beast gave me a 3:30 wake-up call. Ran out of o2 yesterday and trying to stay away from the trex, finally ran the bastard off with an ice pack! Thought better of going back to sleep at this point.

Too bad Jonny ain't up. We could pick on him!

I had 2 hours sleep through the night - which brings me to a whopping total of 8 hours sleep in over a week!!!
Been having to keep horizontal though due to extremeties being in total pain. Been watching movies, and finally today decided to try food again, since there was no way in hell I could even think of food all day yesterday...
Yes Ken, Insomnia indeed doth sucketh - and not in the way I would like either.

Boy, I am starting to get an understanding of what you are going through. I am on medication that causes insomnia for a side effect. My dr just perscribed an adjusted higher dose of xanax to see if that will help me sleep. I sure hope so. This is sure very different from sleeping 15 hours a day for the last 3 years! What a nice change.

Yup chronic insomnia sux......been this way for big part of my life too.....labled chronic insomniac by my doc. Found Ambien works 'ok' and only taken half a pill at nite but won't take it till around 1:00 am or later cuz for sum reason I JUST HATE BEDTIME !! I don't get alL relax-y tired like most people at nite......I get a restless feeling !!! I get tired of bein kicked offline every couple minutes on here at nite so I take it long as I can and shut down and go watch some tv till I HOPEFULLY pass out after an ambien kicks in. They will 'shut ya down fast' and put ya outa yer misery 'if yer lucky'......but don't have the drowsey side effect in the mornin at all which I LIKE. But.....now they aren't workin very well cuz I been on em about 4 years straight. I do fall asleep on em tho 'usually but not always' so can't complain there....but can barely sleep two hours straight. Then it is hit and miss till the alarm goes off. By 7:30-8:00 am I am EXHAUSTED !!! Brad gets up real early all bright eye'd and bushy tailed.......not me......I'm a floppy tailed crab for a few hours.....benydryle doesn't work and gives me a BAD hangover. When I was a kid I used to lay in bed and KICK the walls or sit and sing strange boogie man songs I'd make up for hours !! Think it was my way of occupyin that dead space in time there was nothing to do or I was allowed to do but sit or lay there in the dark ! If I did that now I'd be taken away in a straight jacket ! Alcohol makes insomnia worse for me if I have a few beers......seems to relax everyone else. I jus 'know' I am wierd Pam (I NEVER nap durein the day......basically impossible)

Modify'd cuz I made a shit house of boo-boo's I didn't realize.........must be.....lack of sleep maybe ??????? :P

awnry.....is that like arnry ? Wow they make ya mean ? I take it and 'bout 5 to 10 minutes later I am knoddin out with my face on the desk or smackin my forehead on the keyboard......and then I go hit the couch and HOPE I do it again and SLEEP a while. Seems they act too fast to give me time to get crabby or mean......I've been standin up doin something before and caught myself hittin the floor......happens really fast with that stuff and don't even realize yer passin out......actually kind of scarey. Woudn't wanna take it and be near any cliffs.....prolly wake up at the bottom with buzzards on my chest. Fallen fool Pam
