Good luck Dan, take your time with a nice recovery. In a while, you'll have your dance steps back again.

Summer's not over yet, you got time to sit on the porch to recoup and yell and shake your cane at the traffic going by. :) ;)

Nurses have a little procedure called 'slap it with a spoon'.... ::). Learned a long time ago to be cautious and avoid any kind of sexual innuendo... 8)

Thank you all for your thoughts and comments. Today was pre-op, tomorrow is simple arthroscopic to repair torn ligament and cartilage of the RT hip.

The 14th will be a bit more involved…..full knee replacement. That is when I can really give the staff a hard time.

Nothing is as funny as getting a vascectomy, though. I had the whole O.R. staff cracking up, and I was in a pretty good mood too. They wheeled me out into the hall, on the way to the O.R., and there was a cute college girl standing there with a clipboard and a pen, who asked me if she could observe. Suddenly, shit wasn't so funny. The O.R. is COLD, and when it gets cold, certain "recreational appendages" experience a condition known as "shrinkage." I'm all for education and all that, and I admire her willingness to just get right in there and observe surgeries, but... I'm afraid I declined her request.

Good luck 'biker' Dan !!!!! Have a good recoope time......I'd imagine yer gonna have some time off before the big surgery from this one ? At least you can tell the nurses yer jus tryin to read there name tags cuz ya forgot yer glasses 'stare at the cleveage' routine all guys seem to enjoy at hospitals. Take care bud !!!!!
