Holy Forks Batman!!!

A few problems,
GNU's not Unix,
and Linux is GNU.

Who wrote this? SCO?

Here (http://www.microsoft.com/mscorp/museum/timeline.htm) is the official Microsoft time line.

I love it when they say Microsoft invented the first programming language, that would be "Basic on the Altair 8800" was the first programming language ever. At least they don't claim to have written MS-DOS, that would be too much.

Programming goes back to Ada Byron, Lord Byron's daughter...

Then there's Charles Babbage:

and don't forget John Von Neumann:

I'm not sure WTF the last one is.  Got it from something called Deviant Art.

Just my two cents

I downloaded a commadore 64 emulator the other day with over 100 games that i used to play as a kid - it was great.

Most of the games didnt work - and some just kept crashing - reminds me of the good old days!

My friend still has an ancient Texas Instruments computer: The kind you plug into a television and run the programs through a tape recorder. Still, "Hunt The Wumpus," RULES!! LOL!

Looks like Floridian already beat me to that smart a$$ reply.

I always get people asking if I'm the Scientist Patrick Moore who writes books about space and the stars.
