Title: How many people caught a cold/ flue in Nashville? Post by Elaine on Aug 29th, 2004, 4:42pm I caught something and still have it. :( I went stright to the doctor was given meds, took all the meds and I am still sick. Did anyone else catch a cold/fle there? I am trying to narrow it down to cold/flue or my clorestol med Lipitor. I read where one of the side effects of Lipitor is flu like systoms. So post and let me know if you did what did your doctor say? Also do you still have it? What meds did ya take to get better? Looking for answers so I can get better ! |

Left there hoarse and croaking like a frog. By the next morning, I was coffing up healthy batches of green/yellow/brown lung oysters. Lungs burned, hacking all day........got to the point where I could barely finish 1/2 a `ret......which _definitely_ indicated a visit to ye olde Leech. One listen to my lungs, and he said "Yeah, man. You're sick. Really." A jar of pills and 10 days later.......much better. The chest doesn't burn all the time, the coffing abated 90%, and the lung oysters are back to the usual shade of sickly, pale yellow. All in all, things turned out rather well. Kind of interesting though, since my immune system is usually weak and I get sick like 50 times a year. Been pretty lucky though I guess, other than a upper respiratory infection a few months ago, and crippling pain attributed to Fibromyalgia and God only knows what else. Starting to walk funny again too, and it is bumming me out. At least I have a cane now for when my right leg starts giving out on me. Hope you get better soon Lady E.
