Title: Let's all show off!!!!! Post by ExplodingEyeBall on Aug 27th, 2004, 2:53pm I've been here long enough now to know that we are an incredibely talented bunch of people. I've seen enough awesome artwork to open a gallery. I've read some of the most incredible poems. I know I'm not the only musician. A lot of us do some really cool computer stuff too. Look at what jonny can do with his hands. Photographers, etc.... Let's all show off. Put something here to show the fanily your talents. Here's mine from a contest I was in a few months ago. Recorded to a broken down Tascam Porta One 4 Trach cassette recorder in just 6 hours. I wrote and played and sang everything on it - and there are no keyboards on this song. It is ALL guitar makintg those sounds. Gonna try and get my fave song out here in cyberland for you guys to hear. It was inspired by the lack of understanding of the beast. *Note: If you bought a copy of my disc "Former - Darkest Days Revisited" the song I am referring to is track #4 - Within. I recorded that whole song in just 3 hours on a friends studio machine, and it was a very cathartic recording. I build and test weather satellites. I run multimillion dollar space simulation chambers too. So if you live in north america, and you watch the weather on tv. your seeing images from the scientific instruments I work on. Some of our instruments will be flying on european spacecraft by years end. When I sit back and watch the weather channel in the evening, I can tell what instrument is taking what picture. We did some awesome rideing and hill climbing.....and I taught him contest classes to show him. He knew every word in the english language. I miss him dearly ! He was part of me. In the end he didn't even know who I was "and it killed me" to watch him go downhill so fast.....he knew nothing anymore....it left me feeling extremley guilty.......that I could not help him. It was a bad time.....with good memories. Simple simon Pam I'm not multi talented......but I have "ALOT" of friends ! |

Damn well, not being modest. ;) Karioke nights paid for my gas money during college many times. It is a kick to have people tip to have you sing again rather then listen to all the other peole. ;;D Also, because of Theatre, I create contumes from scratch without paterns from modern day back to 1500's. Earlier then that is rather simple. :) If i can see it in my head, I can make it. I have to finish my husbands costume for the Ren Faire in Oct. My daughter already has 2 to choose from. Them I get to start working on mine. But now my hubby wants me to have one that will match his as well, so I have to buy more material. A draw, when I can. Even donated a couple of pics to OUCH at christmas time. I used to write. Even got one of my poems published. I would have to try and find it so you all could take a look. Can't sew, paint, draw, sing, write, dance, play an instrument, no sports, no crafts, no green thumb, build, create, invent, heck, I can't even sleep good! But I love my kids better than anyone could (it is really easy), and I can spend money like pouring water.
