What kind of meds are you refering too?  Abortive, if so, which one?  Or preventive?

Never used it, dunno.  [smiley=huh.gif]  If you were taking a pill, like zomig, I would say wait till it gets to about a "4" and then take it.

Why take meds when you can suffer in pain?

I can just feel it crawling around at the back of my skull, every once in a while poking at the back of my right eye, just waiting until I least expect it.

I always try and take my 02 right away, no need to suffer. Do you have 02?

Correct me if I'm wrong...but did we discuss this on another thread?  Has your doctor written a prescription for 6/month or has he/she written a new script for a higher amount?

No to the other thread bit, and all I recieved was a script for one box(six count).  That I guess is to last me until my next appointment in Oct.

OK step one....

I'd contact your doctor and ask for a script with more leeway!  Ask them to prescribe a higher number per month...like 18?  Then there's step 2-100 after that, but it is a start.  The doctor has to prescribe a higher number to start with.

See how that goes?  Maybe put in a phone call?

That's bizarre.  They should at least have someone covering in case of emergencies!  When does he come back from vacation?  Soon, I hope!

monday...he works in a clinic with other doctors, but they are not all neurologists..they each have seperate nurses and the whole nine yards.

Ah I see.  Well Monday isn't too far off.  I'd call then and see if he can write a script for a higher amount/month.  Then you may have to do some battle with the insurance company, but there are ways!

By the way, thanxs for all the advice. I am planning on schooling my doctor at my next appointment. I have learned more from this website and people like you than from my doc.  ::)

We try to help. :)  I think most people learned what they know here.  Either that or through a really great doc who knew their stuff.  Combination of everything.  Good luck!
