Nice, Jimmy!!!  I love sailing.  Do you ever go anymore?  I wish we still had our boat!

Holy shit... Those waves would make me toss my cookies, turn green, and shit myself, and maybe all at the same time!  [smiley=laugh.gif]

Makes me wish I were back in the Bearing Sea...almost.

Looks like the fantail, Jimmy. What ship is that?

Don't know the name of it...but it's the forecastle of an Ocean-going Tug off the coast of Newfoundland.

Here's the ship I was on...a little bigger but the waves are the same height.

Jimmy

Any day the waves are bigger that the boat it is a good day to stay on shore.
That's why I was in the army and not the navy. I can walk a hellava lot further than I can swim.

The Missouri was over 887 feet long, 108 feet wide & almost 210 feet tall. Its displacement was 58,000 tons & it had a 13 1/2 inch armour hull. One turret weighed more then most of todays Navy's ships.

It would take more then a little 100 foot roque wave to sink her.  ;;D

I chose the Navy over the Army cause no matter how bad things got, you always brought your bed & the cook along with you.

...and I chose the Coast Guard so I wouldn't have to hot rack.
