I just got this email in my inbox...and it really just about moved me to tears!! Nursing IS worth it!!

Here's the response I sent back to my teacher. Pretty much sums up how I feel:

Kudos to you Carrie!!

You've made a tremendous impact and don't ever forget that. And I think your patient is quite unique for taking the time to let someone know how well they did. Too often all we ever hear or care to do is complain.

CONGRATULATIONS GIRL!! You done good!! Keep it up.
