Title: Stolen picture Post by Simon on Aug 22nd, 2004, 7:56pm Just seen that the picture "The Scream" has been stolen again. Even with the great artwork of JD and others, it still represents things as well as anything I know. Those swirls and the haunted expression. If you haven't looked at CH artwork by sufferers, they're well worth a look. I know they're on OUCH (UK) under miscellaneous, and guess they're here too. S |

Title: Re: Stolen picture Post by Mac on Aug 22nd, 2004, 11:23pm That last one was great. Now that I've seen all those other pics I may rethink this one. It's not finished yet but I figure what better thread than this one to post it. I still have few hours of work left before it's finished. http://pic6.picturetrail.com:80/VOL168/1702168/3557055/64378927.jpg pfdan glen |

Title: Re: Stolen picture Post by Charlie on Aug 23rd, 2004, 12:56am Wow. Some talented people here. Amazing. Who knows? Maybe Edvard Munch was a clusterhead since he is Norwegian....probably one of Svenn's kin. :o The Scream really is the best Simon. Our stuff, while wonderful, may be a little rough for brochures or flyers. Charlie |

Title: Re: Stolen picture Post by synergy on Aug 23rd, 2004, 4:06am Even though the pictures shown here may be too rough for fliers and brochures - it definately shows the extent of the pain felt by the sufferers. Maybe that kind of pic needs to go on the brochuers - might put it into perspective for the people we are trying to inform?! luv sarah xx |

Title: Re: Stolen picture Post by Simon on Aug 23rd, 2004, 7:33am Some of JD's has been used on the ChitChat newsletter in UK, and the Scream was used as title page on the old UKCH site, before anyone worried about copyright!! We tend to forget with an image which seems to belong to humanity, like the Scream, that somebody owns the picture (or did until the weekend :)) S [A thought - maybe all the OUCH groupings could commission a colour picture from JD, or hold a competition, to be used on publicity. With the right guidelines, it could be a really powerful tool.] |

Title: Re: Stolen picture Post by pubgirl on Aug 23rd, 2004, 10:01pm One of the sufferer's drawings was used on the flyer we sent to all the GP's too wasn't it? I'm embarassed to say I don't know whose, but it was great. Was it one of Zazi's? Wendy |
