Title: Sweet Relief!
Post by crazy_mj on Aug 20th, 2004, 2:21pm
I don't want people to think I am bragging, but I have finally hit a break!!  It's been the longest since February.
I am still on my toes though, I have had shadows off and on since the last bad one...BUT..it is still great!
It's like when the sun comes out after a rainstorm.  Everything looks so bright and clean. You just thank GOD to be alive, and today not like most days, I am.
;;D ;;D ;;D ;;D

Oh gawd.... You had one of THOSE bosses!! You know, I wonder if it would be more beneficial to tell bosses that you have migraines. Most people are very familiar with migraines and the level of pain that migraine sufferers deal with. I'll bet if you said migraines, they would be so sympathetic...

Glad to read that you've been given a reprieve from the dance.  Hope this lasts FOREVER!

It doesn't make a difference with her either way.  She has a friend that is a nurse that gives her all of her reliable info.  What the nurse says goes with her.  Anytime I came in with a docs note for me or my little girl she would call and check with the friend to make sure it was all legitimate.

Jeez... Your boss sounds like someone in severe need of an ass-whoopin'!  >:( People like that don't deserve to be leaders. Leadership is an opportunity for giving service! Not for being served, or for feeding one's god-complex, or for tyrants. As a leader, as you serve your employees, they serve the company by being motivated and dedicated in their work. It's a symbiotic relationship in which everyone emerges the winner. Your boss is a twisted sociopath, and it's good that you are beyond her grasp now. Look for good leaders. They are out there.

That is exactly what I tried to tell my coworkers!!  I think they are all a bunch of sadomasachists and enjoyed the torture.
What makes it even worse with her was that she was a micromanager. Always in your shit about every little detail of what you were doing, and of course it was never right!!  One of my coworkers hid in the bathroom most of the day! crazy crazy crazy

Hey you!  Sit down, shut up and be miserable like the rest of us.   OOPS!  Sorry, this isn't the meegraine support site.   ;;D

So wonderful to hear of someone getting a break.  It gives hope to the rest of us that our turn may be just around the corner.  Hope yours last forever!

Gator
