As you may know by now, Athos..aka Ken Olsen went in for disc surgery yesterday about 7:30 am....it is not Tues afternoon, and no update!!
Please, if you have heard anything let us know...if you are thinking of him, now..send him prayers and vibes...

Sending mine up....enccouraging all to do the same!

My Best Ken...and Jody, if you get this, pelase let us know how he's doing!

He didn't tell us what hospital or anything. I'm figuring it might be a few days till he can get word to us. Back surgery takes a while & the recoup time is pretty long.

I'll just keep sending my vibes, and hoping that things are going well.

Do you realize this is the 5th largest city in the US?
There are enough hospitals that if you were to drive to each one and spend 15 minutes there it would take at least a full day to visit them all (with driving time).
And that's just hospitals, not other assorted medical centers... ;)

I tried to find out how many there are... But it's hard to find a comprehensive list of just hospitals.
There are 553 hospital #'s listed. [smiley=huh.gif]

There's gotta be at least a dozen major hospitals...
And hundreds of medical centers.

Wasn't there an earlier thread that mentioned the hospital he was going to?

I remember they said his insurance wouldn't allow him to go to the Mayo clinic... But I don't remember which hospital it was... Or if it's the same one this time. [smiley=huh.gif]
