Title: Proxy.7.BF
Post by Jonny on Aug 16th, 2004, 3:11pm
Anyone know anything about this trojan? or how to get rid of it?

Got two of them, AVG can find them but offer no options.

They are located here C:\DocumentsandSettings\OWNER\LocalSettings\ApplicationData\IM\Identities

Any help would be great ;;D

Jonny,

Check out this link.

http://www.fortinet.com/VirusEncyclopedia/search/encyclopediaSearch.do?method=viewVirusDetailsInfoDirectly&fid=1313

Proxy.7.BF seems to be one of the aliases for W32/Bagle.AQ-dl

As far as getting rid of it, I'm not sure yet since I have not dealt with it yet.

I'll see if I can find out more for you.

Pat
