Hi guys,

the last time I was writing, I was on my way to see the neurologist. She confirmed that my episodic CH has turned into chronic. I got huge dose of maxalt for the pain and verpamil & verpamil for the prevention. I hope this combo works!!!

Sorry to hear your diagnosis, Sandie. Seems like everytime you turn around, there's a new chronic. Be interesting to see how many of us there are now. Maybe we could start a CCH Club, elect UNSOLVED president! ;;D

Well this chronic lady has been pain free for 22 weeks and is no longer chronic. Yeah. I am going to find a folding chair for me to sit on in the eposodics club house. ;;D

Sorry to hear you've been diagnosed as chronic Sandie. I've been chronic for 4 years(6 or 7 hits a week) but I've only had one hit in the last 2 months! I don't know if that qualifies as "in remission" or not but there is hope. Hang in there.

Sandy, it is not the worst news that there ever was. Remember our dear honorary clusterhead, Christopher.

There could be worst news.

There are plenty of us that survive with the handle of "chronic" ... It can be dealt with. Some have had that title for over twenty years. I have had it for over six years. We are still here. Don't let a title get you down. You are a clusterhead. Us clusterheads are tough. We will not let the beast get the best of us. We are stronger than he is.

Now forget about the word "chronic" and get on with living your life to the fullest. Life is too great to worry about a word.
