Ok, am I just a dumbass or what, I can't insert pictures in to my posts or my profile... Is there a trick?

First, the pic has to have a URL.
Copy the URL, use the little button that looks like a landscape picture, 4th button from the left, bottom row... It will create the img tags for you. Paste the pics URL in between the tags..."[img][/img]"

I just wish I knew how to give photo's a URL.
I have to keep asking folks to "upload them to the web"
Is there an easy way to do it...

I just copy image location and paste it in.
You'll have to ask a Microsoft or Mac user how to do it with those machines. I'm not qualified.

If the photo is already on the web, simply right click it, goto properties, and the URL will be displayed. Copy and paste it...

Goto www.imagestation.com for easy webstorage. Just upload your pics there, then you can copy the URL from there and post the pic anywhere.

yes I know how to do it if the pic is already on the web, it's the one's that come off my didgy camera I don't know how to upload em. :-/

Go to imagestation.com. It's pretty self explanatory.
There's even a drag and drop function for the technically challenged... :P
