Title: cat update Post by fubar on Aug 11th, 2004, 1:42pm Well, I've stopped crying like a blubbering idiot. I'm not ready to claim victory yet, but my bengal seems to be recovering now. He's walking again but not jumping or going up/down any stairs. Of all things, the drug that is helping him is... Prednisone. Yep, the same stuff some of us have to endure once in a while. If this continues to improve, it will rule out the spinal cancer. I was *such* a basket case this last few days (I know, over a cat) but this cat is such a huge part of my life. Thank you all for the notes and phone calls, it did make me feel better. http://www.nunleys.com/taz.gif |

Do you know that when my Big Brother Buddy a 6'4" hulk of a man went through his divorce (wife left after 20 years)... a white cat named Spike got him through the sadness. He said that the cat kept him going and gave him a reason to live and exist everyday. I got my tabby cat because of the wonder of this " Spike" and have never been sorry.
