We have more bad news to share today.  Grant's father passed away this morning after a long battle with cancer.  

He sure can need some vibes now friends and family

G..I know you have been preparing for this, my friend...I also know there is no preparation....I am sorry I missed you this afternoon, Paige called me immediately......and all I could do was come home, by which time you were gone.

Thank you for everything.

While I'm not sure that everythign has set in completely, right now I (along with other family members) am relieved more than anything else.

It was a 30-month battle with cancer that few win but he fought as hard as anyone I've known.  I just hope I never see anyone go through a fight like that again (but I realize that probably won't be the case).

It is hard, so hard to watch someone fight like that, when they cannot "go gentle into that good night"

He is at peace now, and you will soon just have the great memories of when we was well.
