Title: The love triangle Post by UN_SOLVED on Aug 5th, 2004, 1:36am So, this girl calls me. I don't know how she got my #. She sounds really sweet. I've never met her before. She e-mails me some pics. She looks nice ;) . She's got a great job in the computer industry and flys all over the place. She lives close to here. She wants to meet me and 'get to know me better'. She says she's really interested. Here's the catch... I just found out, she just recently had been seeing one of my brothers. Seems that some of their friends have told her that she was 'with the wrong one'. They are not together now and my brother has another girlfriend. Is there anything wrong with me going to meet her ? Think my BIG bro will 'kick me arse ? [smiley=bash.gif] WWYOUD ??? Unsolved |

Title: Re: The love triangle Post by juvy on Aug 5th, 2004, 1:40am depends on how serious the relationship was. Think you should ask the big bro if he minds. |

Title: Re: The love triangle Post by BobG on Aug 5th, 2004, 4:03am Tell her Thanks, I'm flattered. But No Thanks" Your brother may say fine, go ahead a date her but he probably won't really mean it. Female friends come and go but your brother is family and you just don't do that to family. |

Then you'll always wonder....was this the one. Your brother's not seeing her anymore...a few close friends thought that she is right for ya. If it works out...you'll have a great meet story at Family get togethers. If your brother doesn't have issue with it. What's the problem.? Brother's can survive a whole lot worse. |

On the flip side... You may not want comparisons running through your head. I've had a close friend go through that and despite several years things still get kinda "weird" Depends how secure you all are. Good luck tough guy! E |

Title: Re: The love triangle Post by DaveHar on Aug 5th, 2004, 8:07am Just my two cents, not that it means anything Sounds like your being played for the fool and the joke will end up on you. Sorry but things like this are just to easy. You will either be the fool of a joke or the fool who messed up a good relationship with blood over a piece of tail. Like I said just my two cents Dave |

Title: Re: The love triangle Post by thomas on Aug 5th, 2004, 8:27am Your brother has another girlfriend, what this girl does and what you do is none of his business. Just me thinking logically again. ;;D |

Depends on how their relationship ended. If she ditched your brother, he would likely take offense. If your brother disposed of her, then he would most likely tell you to 'hit it'. Gotta agree with Dave though... something is rotten in Denmark. It is exceedingly rare for a total stranger to 'want to get to know you better'. A little bit of caution would not hurt. |

Title: Re: The love triangle Post by BobG on Aug 5th, 2004, 8:56am It doesn't matter who dumped whom. If the brother dumped her then he must not like her and would resent her being around even if it was on rare occasions. If she dumped the brother then he would't like her and would resent her being around even if it was on rare occasions. Un_solved...No one else has, so, I'll be the one to ask the question(s) 1. She has a really great set of ta-ta's? right? or 2. She has really great bank account? Note: If she has #2 then #1 doesn't matter. She can buy a set of #1. Still, I'll stick with my original answer. Don't date her. |

Title: Re: The love triangle Post by r_headache on Aug 5th, 2004, 9:12am I normally don't post but this one is interesting....I agree with the above posts, way too easy. Need to find her motive and your bros side of what's wrong with her. If all seems good then HIT IT! ;;D But still be cautious :-/ |

Title: Re: The love triangle Post by Hirvimaki on Aug 5th, 2004, 9:52am I agree with Jeep and Thomas, what you do is none of your brother's business, since this does not concern someone he is currently dating. But then, I am wicked, self-indulgent and a very, very mischievous and naughty person. And I always will be. Hirvimaki |

Title: Re: The love triangle Post by psycofemale0403 on Aug 5th, 2004, 12:11pm MY OPINION: Keeping it in the family is not worth the headache. Trust me. Lots of snickers, and giggles behind your back. This would also be ammo for a giant argument waiting to explode in the future. But, I guess it depends on the relationship you have with your brother too. Not everyone has a brother that they actually consider a brother. I say listen to your heart. And good luck! ~ Lisa :-/ |

Title: Re: The love triangle Post by Jayne on Aug 5th, 2004, 12:22pm I think this woman is up to no good. I think she is seeking revenge on your brother and you are the usefull tool. Stay away from that like the plague. It's my gut feeling and I am a woman after all and I can smell it. |

Title: Re: The love triangle Post by Charlie on Aug 5th, 2004, 12:22pm Carefully. Seems you have to look into it. Title: Re: The love triangle Post by Hirvimaki on Aug 5th, 2004, 3:15pm I fear this thread has denegrated into one of paraphilia. (Yes, it is no longer a "perversion" or "deviation" kiddos.
