Title: STILL Can't sleep!!! Post by Carl_D on Aug 4th, 2004, 3:14am And I'm exhausted, frustrated and in alot of pain. This is getting pretty riduculous very fast. This is even with taking the Amitriptyline!!! Twice tonight got hit, and both times Imitrex failed to abort. My legs hurt so bad I'm bout ready to chop 'em off and be done with them. Not whining, but definitely not a happy fucking camper right now. Beyond pissed! Carl P.S. - Was also comforted today to learn someone tried to break into my apartment the other night. Figures in my neighborhood. |

I'm been chronic now for YEARS...started cycles as a child or between 7-9 (the exact time has gotten fuzy over the years). I stop regular sleep a few years ago...hell, stopped even trying....you know what? It is a funny thing..but that old bullshit about the body needing 6-8 hours sleep a nite? Thats for wimps :) Trust me...it doesn't! I'm now in a third world country, where I can not get ANY medicen, or any O2 at this time...heat is a trigger for me...and it is HOT AS HELL HERE!!!!! I have been above Kip6 for amost a week without any sign of let up...the only change has been bouts of Kp8's, 9's and one WICKET bout of Kp 10 two nights ago..... Last night, I finished reading everything at home...have seen all the DVD's I have a million times, can quote lines from all of them, and know the second I drop of to sleep I'll be awken with at least a level 7 or 8.....so, I just don't do it any more...I just don't sleep or even try to.... Hang in there buddy...I know it's hard...trust me..I KNOW. But...do the chant that I do.... "This headach will stop...just like they all have...." Don't get frustrated... The brain is dying for sleep but the body is keeping me awake. LOL - have none of those ingredients in my pad at this time Dan...*snif*. On day 4 of no sleep again. Off to start the day... But if I could I'd shove that joint up my ass if I thought it would help. Haven't had any decent sleep in weeks, but Big Dan is right. Sooner or later your body will just force you to sleep, even when the beast comes and wakes you up, after it leaves, your body will just go back to sleep anyway. Happens to me at least once a week, usually after a couple of really bad nights. |

It amazing what a very short nap will do for you....too long and the deamon wakes...but if you sneak a short nap by him I find he never notices.... >> Fire up a joint, munch on some cupcakes and chocolate milk, and go to sleep. you have *no* idea what I'd do for a joint...or cupcake for that matter :) chocolate milk?
