A typical 'ask the doctor' article on cluster headaches - gives an overview of what they are and what can be done. My complaints are fairly minor - The triggers section was a bit weak, and oxygen was not given its due. The pain of clusters was recognized as severe (compared to migraine which are moderate to severe - technically correct, but doesn't really communicate what we feel.) But not too bad of an article overall, and the more people know, the better.

Every bit helps !! Someone is getting the word out even if it's not as much as we'd like.

I received a ph call this evening. A friend of mine lives bout 2 hours west of Houston, and while at the foot doctor, she picked up some brochures. They were on headaches....migraine & CLUSTERS!

I am curious as to the the source of the information. She is putting them in the mail to me tomorrow.

While it may not be much......it helps!

It was better than what that idiot Dr. Gott (the one n the newspapers) had to say. He said that ibuprofen was an appropriate treatment for CH. Any way to inform the public with the facts is a good thing.

Ibuprofin: Otherwise known in some elite circles as "Ranger Candy." I've eaten truckloads of the stuff... LOL (and no, it doesn't do shit for CH!)
