Title: Sigh...All good things must come to an end... Post by Hirvimaki on Aug 2nd, 2004, 9:31am I made it five months PF. Sadly, this last week, the bliss came to an abrupt and unexpected end. Mind you, I have not been hit with anything too severe - no upper-KIP's - but I had really forgotten how bad these things are, how the pain is not just pain but is anxiety, fear, depression and suicidal thoughts. For those five months of no-pain I have been (conspicuously) absent from the boards. I have apologized before and will do so again. But, as many of you know, the PF days were not the reason for my absence - not altogether. My wife and I are expecting our first child (you may recall my New Year's Eve tale ;;D ) and I have been happily remodeling the house in preparation of our soon-to-arrive baby. The PF days made this possible, and this drew me away. With this reminding chime now sounding in my head, I will try to be more active on the boards, although I hope my life will still be consumed with the coming of and finally the arrival of our child. I still hope for days filled with diapers and baby wipes rather than Trex and O2. So, HULLO, CH Family. Hirvimaki |

Title: Re: Sigh...All good things must come to an end... Post by Jeepgun on Aug 2nd, 2004, 9:37am Very best wishes, Hirvimaki. Hopefully, you won't get hit with anything worse than what you've already been hit with. Then again, I've seen doodie-diapers bring scarred, burly, leathernecked, combat vets to their knees, in tears. LOL! Congratulations on your soon-to-be bundle of joy. As for the Beast, own that mofo! Ganbatte ne! Omedetou gozaimasu! |

Title: Re: Sigh...All good things must come to an end... Post by john_d on Aug 2nd, 2004, 9:51am You are not alone, alot of people come and go with each cycle. I have been out of cycle for some time, though I did get a tiny little cycle a few weeks ago. Strangest thing. I just stick around just to see what these folks will say next. Is that latin phrase 'The one that nourishes me destroys me.'?, interesting. John D. |

Title: Re: Sigh...All good things must come to an end... Post by Hirvimaki on Aug 2nd, 2004, 10:17am Thanks! Jeepgun, specs on your Jeep? I've got a TJ which will soon go from trail vehicle to baby mobile. The kiddo will go over Black Bear before his/her first birthday and Moab is just 6 hours away (thank goodness!)... john_d, "What nourishes me destroys me". Words to live by... :) Hirvimaki |

Title: Re: Sigh...All good things must come to an end... Post by Kevin_M on Aug 2nd, 2004, 10:53am Hirvi, Five months PF is the same as my last span of time between two six month episodes. Hope the remodeling has come along well for the stork landing and the only pacing in the middle of the night you do is with a baby in your arms for now. Good luck. Kevin M |
