:-* Hi All...It's been a long time...Charlie & I have had a rough year...(asside from computer problems, it would take a week to explain the saga....lets just say we are on the mend) :-/ Charlie started his cycle this week and he is not handling it well at all. I guess its because for so many years he never had a name for it nor did he have a direction...now he does and he is scared of what it is that he is going through (and I do not blame him) We have lost alot of our friends and family members because of ignorance and it would be nice to be able to talk in person to someone who shares the beast without having to explain why or what is happening when it happens. Or why my husband has an oxygen tank in his car when we go out. :o...Are there any fellow sufferers in the Long Island/New York area that would like to meet in person to compare notes and be a local friend? [smiley=hiya.gif] Please let us know...it would be greatly appreciated... (wishing you all pain free moments) thanks..... Chia

Sorry Charlie is having a rough time. Your support is the best medicine. ;) as well as some good science :)

Anyhow, I live in East Northport and Kimh lives in the area as well. We are both "heads" that recently met.

If you like send me a PM and I'll give ya some info. (# if ya want to talk or if your hubby needs to!)

Hang in there and tell him to give me a ring if he wants to meet someone face to face.

Long Island area has been enjoying some wonderful clusterhead meetings recently.

It's past midnite and i just recovered from a rather hideous attack - Charlie can rest assured he ain't the only one goin a bit manic in ny these days. I am sitting here dripping wet from the shower, with a wet and wrung out Teletubbies beach towel wrapped around my neck humming "I Feel Pretty" from West Side Story.

Pop me over an im or e-mail. I am in Centerport.

Doh! One week later and I'd have been able to meet a third clusterhead from LI. Oh well, there's always a next time I guess.

Chia, ya gotta meet these guys, I have heard they are wonderful ! But that is just rumor ! :D
