so i took my stat dose pen out of my bag wed night because it got dirty and thought i had put my other one in my bag. well i found out friday morning when i got hit on the subway that i didn't put it in my bag. i found some cartridges though of imitrex and though....well jayne showed me how do this so if it gets worse i'll try to do it manually rather than go 25 mins home. so i went to this place to drop off this camera i rented. when i got there the beast was letting me know that this was going to be a bad one. i found a bathroom in the hall. of course someone was in the stall so i just dropped my bag and went to work on imitrex cartridge trying everything to get the damn needle out of the case. i was finding anything i could to use as tools, pens, keys, etc. i was like macgyver only with crippling pain. i finally got it out after breaking the plastic part and cutting my finger. the guy left the stall and must have thought i was insane, or a junkie, i was driping sweat and my face was entirely red and tears were coming down my eye. i went to the stall, jabbed the needle in my arm and took a pen apart and used the ink well to push the imitrex in. it took a few minutes to work and my face was getting numb like pins and needles, but finally i got relief. that was close and i won't be forgetting my stat dose anytime soon. just sharing. hope everyone is doing well!

Damn justin, sorry you got caught unprepared....
You'll be ready next time, wish there wasn't another next time though.

I know exactly that panicked feeling you must have been feeling Justin. That has happened to me before. You know relief is in your hands, if you could only get into it somehow.
Your post made my heart beat a little faster...that's what you call stress!!!!

yeah i guess if anything it was a good thing that jayne showed me how to do it. it made me not scared to do it. and now that i have done it, i feel better and more confident that i can get out of sticky situations. and now maybe i can try just take half. so i guess things happen for a reason, no matter how crappy they are.
