As a sufferer I am limited to view what the beast has to offer, only from the inside.

I dont think about how the beast effects those on the outside!!

However, i have lost yet another girlfriend due to the beast!!

i know, i know, if she cant see that the beast is only a part of me everyonce in a while and is not actually me then she is not worth it. But that doesnt make the loneliness anymore enjoyable.

I'm sorry, Turts... I know it sucks right now, but why would you want to be with a woman who bails out on you at the first sign of difficulty or pain? I'm very sorry to hear that, but it is true, she is so not worth it. My boyfriend takes my clusters all in stride, if I'm in pain, he quietly stays away until it's gone, then he will hold me. If I'm down or in a bad mood sometimes I take it out on him, and he will just sit back and not get mad, he is a great person. Yeah, he doesn't understand the pain I endure, but he tries, which is what counts.

I am very sorry to hear about her lack of sympathy. But you are truly better off, someone great will come along.

Awww.. I m sorry to hear this.. but as the others said.. if she cant be with you when there is a bit of a (albeit) painful bump in the road.. then you are better off without her....

Sorry Turts... I know that pain all too well.
Doesn't make it any easier when it happens, but I've come to expect it. Had a few failed relationships and lost a few friends due to the beast.

I was in your shoes not long ago my dear Cluster Brother. As I have learned in the past few months it is this condition that makes us some of the strongest humans around, so please rest assured that it's her loss in the long run!

Think about it....If you can deal with the beast, you can deal with any obstical that comes your way. Guess she wants a little "less" out of a partner...

Heal your heart dear Turt. It is only because there is something better on it's way that this happened. Have to have the room to let it in.....

you arent alone in relationship department either, a few clusterbuds have suffered this recently ( I know it doesnt help any and that the choices are scarce in Aussieland... but you are better off without her if she doesnt have the fortitude to endure along side you)

Sorry to hear that turts. But a true partner will be there for you. even when they dont understand it all. You have lots of people here who will listen and hopefully you find someone who will look at and love only you and not only look at the surface.

For me, she used to see me get hit and head upstairs and go to bed. I know damn well she didn't understand it or care much for that matter. I'm the one who left, incidentally.

Well, I'm fixin' to rant....

What kind of person would hit the road when the going gets a little bumpy? A cold hearted, weak, wuss....that's what I say (and I'm being kind... ;;D)

I fully agree with the members. Why would one even consider a person when the person bails when the going gets rough.
My partner thought I was really messed up not understanding these clusters, but after finding this site she was able to see that I'm not the only person in the world having extreme pain as well she was able to understand the condition we suffer from.
Perhaps tufts, you might consider explaining this situation after things are cemented in a relationship but before you actually hit a cycle if possible.
If your new partner feels enough for you, she will understand and just back away while you dance.

ANyhooters.. best of luck and remeber there are many nice partners out there.

I am sorry to hear about your girlfriend dude! It just kills me how many people on the outside just dont understand and how could they? My wife has been a trooper about it though I know she doesnt understand. WORK!!HA... I get the Oh yeah I get Migraines, or I get bad headaches too. Then they all wonder why you are such a puss "Just take a couple Tylenol."

As painful as I know it is right now, I say good riddance to bad rubbish. There are lots of women who actually have hearts out there. You'll find one.

Maybe as a little going away present, you could print out this thread and send it to her. Maybe she might see herself through a different set of eyes.
