Title: About Zazi... Post by Cathi04 on Jul 29th, 2004, 3:50am Today...Thurs, Zaira will be checking into the hospital for knee surgery. She is worried......please, let's load this thread with tons of well wishes, prayers, vibes, juju...and anything I cannot think of right now... Zazi's Dr told her this is easy...Zazi says she would rather have 10 hits...I suggested to her that she NEVER sleeps during a hit...but this surgery she will most likely be out like a light! That is better than a hit! Zazi...we will be waiting on some news from your dad...meantime, lets send her a TON of well wishes... I’m going to the Hospital, today Doctors will do the last radiographies and tomorrow (7/30) they will do the surgery. They say it will take 5 hours... thanks God they will operate only the knee... the fracture I have in the pelvis is going better... Rock on! ;;D I’m terribly scared, because I am not lucky at all.... after these 2 accidents I am having many complications.... and, of course, I have such rotten luck.... it is hard to believe... ;;D ;;D ;;D Sorry to be such a downer... give me a second... I will put on my smiley face ;;D... and then everyone won’t worry about me... LOL if I will die during the operation... I've been having surgeries since I was 13, it's really not that big of a deal unless you gotta have major internal work done. He too was worried that he would never play his beloved sport again and fretted before the op. Today he is so happy he went ahead as he is back playing squash, rugby, tennis and even coaches kiddie-rugby. He says his knee was never this good before the operation, even when he was a child!! Well... unfortunatelly not great news from Zazi's sister Nadia... :-[ I just got a mail from her saying that Zazi should have started the surgery this morning about at 9, but just before... she got hit, so docs put hands on her at noon time. Surgery lasted 6 hrs and the problems arrived after... Due to the heavy anesthetic they gave her she had a respiratory arrest (I hope that's the way to say it in American). In this moment doctors are keeping her under control and they say she will stay at least other 3 days in hospital, so that they can monitor her. I can't beleive how much ROTTEN luck she's having and she had!!!
