Title: DNC Victim Post by don on Jul 26th, 2004, 9:45pm I have to cross Boston to get from my job to home. The major highway is closed. You can't swinga stick without hitting and city cop, state cop, swat team, motorcycle cop, federal marshal, customs agent, ATF agent, etc. etc. And they are all warm and friendly. Heres an example. I'm trying to get home. I stop and ask this guy who looks like a cross between a cyborg, ninja fighter, and the terminator. About 7'9" somewhere in the range of 1000 to 1500 pounds. Excuse me officer how do I............................ KEEP FUCKING MOVING DICKHEAD! NOW! Thank you officer. (Vote Libertarian) |

Title: Re: DNC Victim Post by Jeepgun on Jul 27th, 2004, 4:45pm Hot damn!! I hope the Libertarian party becomes big enough to be a viable political party, because that's pretty much the way I would vote. Personal, individual responsibility goes hand in hand with freedom. The two are inseparable. This is the very cornerstone that free nations are founded upon. Sadly, there has been a steady move away from that since the mid-sixties. |

Title: Re: DNC Victim Post by Samantha_Smith on Jul 27th, 2004, 5:13pm I listened to a Boston traffic report yesterday and they said that they would be closing I-93 probably between 4 -7 pm while the convention is happening. Also the MBTA schedule is screwed up. I've heard that its best to take Route 128 or Route 495---just go around all the traffic. I know that Spaulding Rehab Hospital (where I go to see my neuro) is RIGHT next to the Fleet Center. My neuro said that everyone was basically going on vacation this week. Oh yes...and vote Libertarian! |

Title: Re: DNC Victim Post by Sean_C on Jul 28th, 2004, 9:46am Why is it that the DNC was supposedly going to boost Bostons economy. Who said that was it Manino. They scared all the tourist away so that the lard asses could eat there pastry's at the 4 Seasons without the peasants bothering them. The similiarity? They are both public events. Some people in a city feel pride about hosting them, others could give a shit. They clog roads. Hotels definitely win. Some restaurants win, some lose customers because people want to avoid the crowds and they change their routine. Malls, offices, and taxpayers generally lose. Let me know if I need to spell out that out clearer for you, Sean. Too bad if I piss you off constantly. Political spam on a cluster headache board pisses others off. At the very least, you should be ready to take some if you dish it out. Especially when its ignorantly written and based on faulty premises and junior high school logic. Most of my posts here are about cluster headaches and medical issues. They all would be if this board wasn't routinely flooded with off-topic political spam like your previous post.
