Captains Log : star date 72104.1145 The Cerberus Sustained heavy damage while disengaging from a skirmish in the Nashcon system in the delta quadrant. The deflector sheild took a direct hit and the sensor grid overloaded we have been flying blind since. Although the diplomatic mission was an overwhelming success and new relationships between planets has been established. We were ambushed by hostiles as we tried to return to spacedock. A long arduous battle ensued and we took on casualties and major repairs are desperately needed. The Cerberus looks forward to the next federation summit and hopefully the upgrades scheduled to be installed will leave her more prepared to defend against the enemy in future negotiations. Capt.
