There was one man at the convention who epitomizes the word supporter.....but, he is also a sufferer.

LUKE

The caring and supporting that this family does is unbelievable, but what I saw from Luke this weekend was beyond anything I have seen before. His caring, compassion and kindness was amazing to watch.......(of course, we won't mention that he is damn fun to party with, and he's pretty hot too..... :-*).

Luke......you're the best, and I'm damn proud to know you and call you friend.

Luke...thanks just isn't even good enough. You were absolutely the most amazing supporter for those that needed it. I just found out tonight from Mark about you asking if anyone had more O2. Dang made me cry again!! You are really such a great guy.

I told BillyJ that when you two dropped me off at the airport, I felt like I had two big brothers watching out for me.

Dude moves pretty good too......we made it from the patio to my room on 6 and down to the hospitility room on 3 with 3 e-tanks and a O2 rig on wheels in about 45 seconds!

First, one of the best interviews and articles I've read on CH, then, the hardest working supporter at the convention. All I have to say is AMAZING!

I must agree with everyone. I dont think I ever saw him sitting still for more then a few moments and off he'd be to help someone in need.

what did he do? I didn't see him do anything but stuff his face and and smoke ciggies. I didn't see him go way and beyond the call of duty. I didn't see him running around like a blue arsed fly helping people.
I think Luke must have a rash on his arse from all the sitting down he did.

I just kinda got on here today...better late than never I guess.
I just want to say...that if it were'nt for all of you..I would have not been able to do it.
I want to say that I have found more Love, Compassion,Friendship,Trust,Truth this weekend than I have ever had in my whole 41 years of existence..and that comes from true and deep in my heart.

I wasn't going to say anything, but I swear to God, the entire staff at the hotel could have used a couple of CRATES of Midol or something... Bastards...

The only staff that were worth a shit, were the wait-staff at the banquet and the cleaning ladies. The rest of them weren't worth the powder to blow 'em to Hell with. >:(

Luke, I know how tough it is to stick by someone when they tell you to "leave them the fuck alone." You were SO wonderful! The first day we were there to the last you took control. I didn't have to do a thing. I cried and cried and at first i thought it was what I've been holding in, but then I realized that wasn't why. It was because of you. Because I didn't have to be there for Dad every second. Because you were. Becaue everyone was. I thought for a long time that Dad was alone. You have changed my views on what a family is. You're a great man. I hope I can repay you for what you've done for my dad, but most importantly what you have done for me. Whether intentional or not. Thank you Luke.

Y'all don't know the half of it. Luke had told me months ago, that he wanted to see someone get hit. Well he did. PLENTY of times! It was, who else? ME! No only that, he helped me through them.

I am rather physical when I am getting hit. I bang my head, I pull my hair, I bounce around. Luke not only has gay-dar, he has clus-dar too. I would try to sneak away, and yet he saw/senced it and he would come running, hold me through the whole hit. It was not easy holding me down. By the time the hit was over, he was out of breath, and soaked in sweat. Yet he did it time and time again. When he offered to share his room with me, I don't think he knew what he was letting himself in for, yet he kept telling me to shut up about it. I feel so bad for the time that I took from his fun!

This man refused to let me go through a hit on my own, the whole time he was around, yet I have been doing so for well over 20 years.

What a man! What a clusterhead! What a brother! What a supporter! What a friend! What a fucken awesome dude!
