Title: Single & CH. It ain't pretty Post by notseinfeld on Jul 16th, 2004, 9:20am "Well David, any woman that turns away a date with you because of your CH isn't worth going out with in the first place. " To be perfectly honest, that's both accurate and inaccurate. I think people have a right, nay, a duty to do what's best for 'them' and sometimes it stings. In the same way perhaps that we don't want to date a gal with children, or maybe one in a wheelchair, is it any different dating a chronic CH sufferer really? In any above-state situation it almost starts you off with a 15 yard penalty. On the other hand is it indicative of trouble if a gal 'wants' to date you partly b/c of your condition? A rescuer, caretaker, someone whose time spent focusing on the plight of others? I'm not too concerned about this in actuality---just thinking aloud. It runs through the same vein as the other thread on here that I"m too lazy to link to. Uh, Psychological Repercussions & You is the title. Had such good input last time I figured I tickle some neurons & neurotics this a.m. :) nots |

Title: Re: Single & CH. It ain't pretty Post by Redd715 on Jul 16th, 2004, 9:39am I've held firm to a philosophy for many years that another put the words to Nots.... It is only with the heart that one can see rightly...what is essential is invisible to the eye. Now if this was a philosphy held by all I think the world of life and love would be a much more harmonious place...but alas it is not, and too many people are superficial in their own unique ways. |
