I need a list of all those cluster heads who have prescriptions for Imitrex and can only get a limited amount or none at all because of insurance or financial restraints.

Please email me your information, and if you are going to the convention, bring a copy of your prescription, (the box will do). If you aren't going to the convention, please take a copy of the prescription or a photo of it and send it to me.

I will put you in touch with some 'samples' from doctors to help you out but you MUST have a valid prescription.

I've used and still use more Imitrex than ANYONE (injections). Got ahold of them when they very first came out.

PS. That's super what you're doing. I get ALL of my 'supply' from neuro's (samples).

Great job Cat. I would but the VA and my new GP is doing a great job of keeping me suppied with injections.

It is good to see that there are doctors out there that are going to put the samples to work instead of letting them sit on a shelf

I'll bring my most recent (yet as unfilled $$) script to Nashville. What little is left of my sample supply doesn't have a script tag on them. PM me with what information you are requesting and I'll be happy to give it to you.

Doesn't that just piss you off Jayne? I'm imagining that you have to do the same thing I do. Pick and choose which to abort and which to ride out, and hope like hell you made the right choice?

well I have not been doing too bad over the last 6 months thank god, but I have had somestarting to break through this past week.
My Insurance company will cover me for nothing to do with "Headaches" as it was a pre-exsisting condition. If I want coverage I have to proove that I have not been treated/medicated for my condition for 1 year. That makes it impossible as I am a chronic.
I called Glaxo Kline patient assistant programe thanks to NancyC's advice and couldn't beleive it when they told me my insurance had to cover me for the two kits at a $35 co pay. I jumped for joy and took what I could get. I just pray I don't get more than 12 headahces a month that I need to jab myself. The 02 stopped working for me as an abortive...it would just keep it at a painfull level instead of excrutiating.
Glaxo did what they could for me and they helped.

Thats what I have too the Glaxo medication assistance program. No ins. threw work, as it's a small company, and my portion of the premium is more than my freaking RENT! I get 8 injects a month. Not near enough, so I suffer threw most, and abort the worst ones that hit at work.

I still hope to attend the convention. The past few weeks have been really hectic with daughter/husband seperation. The past week I had to secure her a new place and move personal belongings, etc.

If I still can come, I will bring at least 10 boxes for proper disposal at the convention.

I'll scan and email you mine. hehe the script was written in December originally for 4 NS a day for 3 months. The insurance only covers 6 a month, so I am still owrking on the original refills. Gotta love that "as needed" that lets them fillit any damn way they see fit.
