Happy Independence Day - is it really 228 years? - seems like only yesterday. (But you know what we colonialists are like).

No danger of me ever forgetting it - our wedding anniversary. (Who gets married on INdependence Day?) :)

I believe it was during the war that an aunt of mine went ballistic because she found out that in a library in Britain, American history was listed in the card file under "Colonies." :o
