Title: UPDATE on Athos 6-27-04 Post by Cerberus on Jun 27th, 2004, 7:59pm Greetings from the hellaciously HOT Arizona... ;;D I am spending a couple of weeks here with the Olsens (Ken(Athos), Jodi, Kira, Cami, and Connor). I must say that things are going swimmingly overall. This Is a Beautiful family and Lake Havasu, AZ. is a gorgeous city. :) Now on to the actuall update part...Athos is NOT well today, The CH I think is actually secondary to his back problems...he had to cut his visit to church this morning short due to spasms and just a few minutes ago had a very bad spasm (I don't know if there was a CH involved as well)...Anyway, the point. Times are a little tough for the Olsens right now :((I won't even begin to air out the familiy's business here...its not my place) Suffice it to say that as much as Jodi is capable of, I feel she is a bit lost on how to help him...She does an EXCELLENT job of taking care of him and I think my visit has helped them both a great deal spiritually. Things just havent been going well for them lately. All of the love, support and prayer you can send to them are welcome and certainly warranted. They have been Excellent hosts and Ken the classic workaholic is MUCH too stubborn to sit and relax for even a few minutes, he's just trying to do too much at once. >:( For all I am worth to them now, I'm trying to help out as much as I can, but, with the pain, we all know there is little that can be done by anyone beyond the medical care he recieves and it saddens me :'(...They are WONDERFUL people, Ken is has a brilliant mind and none of them deserve the troubles that have befallen them. :-/ I don't have many pics to post yet but I will get some up as soon as I can, we will be going to the Lake today and I expect to get some awsome shots there. :) In the meantime....PEACE AND HEALING TO KEN! And STRESS RELIEVING VIBES TO HIS WONDERFUL WIFE JODI and their Children!!!!! :'( More Later... Ramon |
