I want it stated for the record where all can see it.

Many of you know me, personaly and just by the board. You know my charecter and what I am about. I pull no punches and I shoot straight from the hip. If I have a problem I make it known. If things are good then I support and back it as well.

Recently I posted in regards to people putting their two cents in where it is not wanted nor did it belong. Mainly Barb D and Renee our VP.

I want to state for all to see that at Convention I will NOT start any problems with either of these two people or anyone else. I will do all in my power to be polite and helpful to everyone no matter what my feelings are. I will NOT make this convention a joke because of my temper as we have too much riding on it.

After Convention is over it will be back to my old self and if people want to step on my toes or get in my face then the gloves come back off. I can be your friend or I can be your worst enemy. I have been called out before on this board and I stood outside in a robe with an IV in my hand for that person to show up and he never did. I am not afraid to do it again.

I want all the hard work that Leesa and Jayne have put into this to show and I will not be the one to mess it up at convention. They are my main concern at this point. To make those two women shine for all they have done and to take as much off their shoulders as possible. If you have a beef with me then pull me aside and talk to me. Lets not take it outside or in the banquet room for all to see. We each have rooms where that can be done in private.

Everybody wants to get involved in areas where they need to stay out of.

If the BoD and Directors are gonna call the shots..then there is no need for convention "hosts".

Stand your ground.....looks like alot of work has been put out on this convention.

Let the spotlight shine on those who did the work!!

You need to stop posting complaints where you name people off like that, a public forum is inappopriate place to do that and you are forcing those people into an awkward position of trying to defend themselves on a stupid message board.

Thank you John D. Finally someone stepping up here!

There has been alot of work done for the convention, by both the hosts and the BoD.

Some communication lines got dropped and some misunderstandings occurred.

There is a need for convention hosts and there is a need for the BoD. They must work hand in hand for a successful convention to take place.

If you have not walked in the steps of another, you have no idea where they have been.

Let it Goooooooooooooooooooooooooo... I'm not even going and I hate this girly shit.........yup Ree said shit... and Ree uses alot of other explitives since watching recent news bulletins... In the grand scheme of things... with the world in turmoil... do you really think these bickerings are important........... I think not...

I just got a nasty im from DaveHar, he does not want me posting any more posts that disagree with him. The im ends with the same kinda threats he makes in the post above. I will try to ignore the threats. I don't know, but I think he is kinda nuts and very paranoid. Who the hell is this guy anyway? I hope he is not an important part of OUCH, he is very much unprofessional and I would choose to dismantle my current charity budget for that org if I think he was responsible for spending it. I will find out one way or the other.

Dave you are taking all the glory away from them just by what you are doing here and your threats to others... please stop before you ruin the convention all together... everyone knows how hard you have all worked... to push it in peoples faces constantly isnt attractive. nor does it accomplish anything. The MAIN concern should be us clusterheads getting to meet each other and all getting along. Why shouldn't we get along? We all have such a big thing in common.
I've been dealing with this HORROR for years now and STILL have not met another clusterhead ... not even in HA clinics (several times). I use to think I was the ONLY one dealing with this .... seeing is believing !

I think we'll all have a good time and things will work out well regardless of this little 'spat'.

Maybe i'm a little different then you guys ... I'm just glad to make it from day to day. Little things don't mean much. Threats / intimidation means even less (unless you're trying to take my Trex !)

Loosen up people - this will be a good time ! Nothing ever goes exactly as planned but everything will work out fine.

I received another IM from someone very close to Dave that assures me he is just in bad sorts right now with the convention details. I believe this and I also believe what she said about him actually being a good guy.

Being in bad sorts is very understandable to me and I am choosing to let the whole thing go and drop it, hopefully it is reciprocated.

This isn't a wedding, or a funeral, or any other 'formal' gathering.

We're clusterheads, and/or/also supporters of clusterheads. We're getting together to have a good time, share some stories, laughs and put faces to those that we know share our rare desease.

"I can't believe 'this' wasn't in the schedule" or "Oh this is such the wrong way to do 'this".... yeah... fuck that. Leave that shit at the door.

Some of you can sit and stew over your petty bullshit, but I'll be kickin' back, tossin' some suds down my throught, and laughing my ass off.

Anyone that wants to join me, I'll be at the bar.

That is exactly where you can find me for the 6 days I will be In Nash (except for the 1 hr I will be speaking...that is, IF i can get the words out ::) )
