Dave went to his first app. with his new GP tonight!!(through the VA) I damn near fell out when he told me she KNOWS about CH. This gal rattled off some of the meds that are used to prevent and abort and even knew about O2!! She told him she knew of CH :obut.........she never had treated a patient who suffered from them!! All his meds will stay the same and the O2 as well. Dave has become her "guinea pig" so to speak. All in all it was a good thing. So Dave and I are both happy campers!! ;;D

COOL......we like our internalist doc.......we got lucky cuz he has some interest and knowledge of CH.......and he didn't advised advil Pam

You two just recieved the teaching opportunity of a Ch'ers lifetime.

VA hospitals around here would load him up on thorazine, hand him the obligatory cane, and send him out the door.

Congratulations! A good GP is worth more than any neurologist. I know this from experience. Congrats, Dave.

Dave & I will learn her well trust me!!! He goes back in Dec. and by then Ill have all the info from here printed and shell have more stuff to read then carter has pills!! The VA round here is real good about REALLY finding out whats going on. For the first time in a long time we have docs that LISTEN and that is worth its weight in gold in my book.

It is for both of us, but I cant speak for Dave but trying to "learn" the docs takes too much outta me. Cus they dont want to learn about CH in most cases. Most of the docs have treated me like I know nothing about CH that all I am is his better half (we all know that I am his better half.) ;) And that has caused ALOT of nasty words come from my mouth!! HEHEHEHEE But this time ITS different!!! This is just too cool from my view!!!
