Title: DUMB Dr. Post by Callico_Kid on Jun 19th, 2004, 12:29am Wednesday night while I was at the hospital visiting my wife I got hit with a moderate CH while the nurse was checking my wife's vitals. She asked if I needed assistance and my wife said not to worry about it, it's just a CH. The nurse said, "Oh, I know about those. My husband gets them too, but was just diagnosed. His Dr. told him not to bother trying any medications because there was not anything that could help him. He said the medications would only make the HAs get worse!" I left her with my phone number and email addy along with this website and my Neuro's name, but haven't heard from him yet. I hope I do. Is there nothing we can do about such incompetence? I know we are rare, but there ARE medical books that give remedies that help some. Such incompetence is to me inexcusable. Jerry |

So....she's a nurse and wouldn't dream of her husband getting a second opinion? Ya wonder if she really knows what they are. If he has them, she will know soon. Kevin M |
