"Monroe County Democrats have teamed up with High Falls Brewery to offer two free 2-ounce beers to those who register to vote at the festival"

Maybe I need to re-consider my political affiliation..

I will need a 30 pack of 12 oz beers before anyone can even think they can sway me.

30 beers X 12 oz = 360 oz's divided by 2 oz's = 180 beers

Yeah, seems like a little "persuation", but I bet they actually don't give away too many. It would seem that most unregistered voters would be the ones who turned eighteen. Those and the nineteen and twenty year olds are ones that would be new registars, and they would not be able to drink anyway because they are under the drinking age of 21. Doesn't seem like many people over 21 would still be unregistered.
I'd kinda be embarrassed that a couple two ounce beers finally was what got me registered at age 35 or so, or in my case much older.

So who gets all the leftover beer. The sponsoring Monroe County Democrats. Guess it could have been
planned that way. What a way to get a lot of free beer on donation money. Lotta volunteers I bet are working that booth at the festival.
