She and her husband Danny are on their way to see her tonight before they leave on their trip. My mother in law has battled cancer for over 15 yrs. now. I'd like to consider her lucky for that, but her battle has taken it's toll since last December. She's in the final battle right now that she will not pull through. Hopsice is great at this time in informing us of what goes on at this time in a terminal patient's end of life. It helps tremendously. Today her and I said our goodbyes........not an easy thing...........but a blessing in my eyes. She just told me she's prepared, but not ready to leave yet. It's amazing the stories she tells us about during her "moments" of "circling" as she says. Too hard to talk of now, but just wanted to thank you ALL for the wishes. Know you're in my thoughts, and I'm counting on you being here for me when I can get to you. Pray with me now that she NOT suffer needlessly. God bless you all, and take care. EDNA |

We had hospice last Oct when my sister died. They spent endless hours with us. Called them at 2 in the a.m., they were right there and stayed as long as we needed them to. I sure hope Danny is home with you! Please send him my love. You take care of yourself and Danny. Know that my prayers are with you, sweetie. Lots of love... Jean (if you need me...I can be there in less than 6 hrs. Let me know!) |
