what is the lowest dosage people have tried that has worked? in the past i have used 30 mg a day and it has worked, but i still get the side effects. i'm wondering if anyone has tried less and had it stop the HA's without such bad side effects

Prednisone is not Rxed for daily treatment, not for CH.

I've used it as a preventative...and on a tapered schedule...but had no effect for me this time.

yeah i know . i've used prednisone before. it's a temporary thing. i'll do it for like a week or two. and then hopefully by that time the increase in depakote will have kicked in.

Hate the depakote too.......did nothing except made me brain-dead for about a month.

I started out at 80mg per day and tapered down and it worked... I can't imagine 30 mg helping much at all.
