(updated 3:06 pm EST) Post by ClusterChuck on Jun 16th, 2004, 8:36am I just got the word from our dear Zazi's dad, Valentino, that she has been hit, as a pedestrian, by a drunk driver. She was standing outside the hospital, with her neuro, waiting for Val, when a drunk driver hit the two of them. I do not have the full details of her condition at this time, but I will update you as soon as I know more. She is still being treated in the emergency room as I type this. But please. family, send any vibes you have, and if you believe in prayer, send them now. Our darling Zazi really needs them. Chuck |

He said that Zazi is being treated right now to repair her broken nose that smashed onto the hood of the drunk's car. She did have a fair amount of loss of blood, but he did not say that she needed a blood transfusion, so that is good. The only other damages were cuts and bruises on her legs, knees and butt, but nothing serious. So, it looks like she did not get seriously injured in this incident, but she still needs our prayers and vibes. I will let you know more, as I hear it. Chuck |

She did have to receive a transfusion. But everything is fine. She should be home in a week. The doctors said there is no reason why she cannot go and see us all in Nashville. The drunk has been caught. He is in DEEP SHIT! Val's wife is a lawyer. He is going to pay dearly! The neuro only ended up with a broken arm. So. considering what could have happened, this is all good news! Can't wait to see Zazi in Nashville! Chuck |
