Title: I have Carrie (lizzie2) in my house, permenently Post by fubar on Jun 9th, 2004, 10:18pm ;;D Actually, she play my piano now, constantly. And I have to say, she's amazing. It's sad I can't actually see her, but my piano sure acts like she's there. Lizzie (Carrie) sent me a piano-recording (disklavier) of her final recital at college, and it plays my piano exactly as if she were sitting here giving me a private concert. What a talented lady! I am so lucky to have her (virtually, anyway) as a performer in my house! Thanks Carrie! -Shawn |

I was worried that I screwed it up somehow!! ;) Hope you were able to skip over those tracks where I messed up and had to start over! LOL ;) Haven't had a chance to play the piano much since coming to nursing school, but I want to order some more music as soon as I start working again! :) Glad you like it and thanks for the compliments!! Hugz, Carrie :) |

Same with me. My problem seems to be that my left hand has become unattached to the electrical signals from my brain for being able to work concurrently with my right. Even worse at guitar. But I like to "Bang On My Drum All Day". ;;D |

Title: Re: I have Carrie (lizzie2) in my house, permenent Post by Jeepgun on Jun 10th, 2004, 12:29pm Well, I'm enjoying the journey. My left hand is getting better... Echo, try messing around with "Maple Leaf Rag," and any blues you can find with a walking bass. You'll get there. :) I was working on so many things at once, that I finally scaled back. I'm currently working on a very enjoyable Dan Coates arrangement of "Saving All My Love For You." Nice chord progression, nice rhythm... It sounds like something you would hear in a dimly lit piano pub. :) |
