Title: Hey people.... come along with us to the Stockyard Post by Elaine on Jun 8th, 2004, 1:15pm Buddy and I had plan to go the the Stockyard Friday Night we have invited a few people to join us, but would like to invite as many of you as would like to go. It will be dutch treat. That means everyone is on their own money wise! Dinner Prices are a little expensive, around $30-40 a plate. There will be music and good food. We are going to reserve a private room and we need to know how many will attend. A Shuttle will pick us up at 8:00 PM at the hotel and they will bring us back. I need to know by Wenesday June 16th who is going to go. Please post to this thread if you are going. If your names not on this thread you may be over looked. Here is a list of people going so far. Please keep in mind with Drinks and Dinner you could spend a $100 fairly fast! I couldn't find information on it so I called them. The dance hall closed down a year or so back! >:( I called Buddy and it disapointed him but he said the food and the music at dinner was worth it. He told me to let you all know. If you all still want to go say nothing if you don't post and let me know. Peppermint there will more than likely be clubs all around it being Nashville. Buddy said maybe we can find one close to the motel to go to afterwards, that has dancing. |

There is smoking allowed in the room and in the hallway outside the room. The tables will be round tables set up to hold 7-9 people each. They do request that people who are buying other people's dinner sit together. This will contain a little of the confusion for the waiters trying to do around 50 checks. We can have a bar set up in the room for $125 dollars. This comes out to around $2.50 a person, but since everyone doesn't drink, I told her I would ask everyone's opinion of this. The shuttles can fit everyone, they have quite a few of them. If you aren't staying at the Holiday Inn, they can also return you to wherever you are staying....within reason..... ;;D....LOL.... no trying to get back to Texas or wherever. If anyone has any other questions...please let me know. T |
