Title: Update on Robert (non CH) Post by juvy on Jun 6th, 2004, 3:14am Well, it seems that neuros aren't the only clueless not a very nice persons out there. Robert's testing on Friday evidently didn't have the results the heart specialist wanted. They can't tell us if they ruled out MSA, they can't tell us if he has another condition, they can't tell us how serious Robert's condition is. So in all, Robert is racking up thousands of dollars in medical bills and they can't tell us SHIT! They put him on a heart monitor for a month. Poor Bert is so frustrated. This once extremely mild-mannered person is yelling and screaming. He hits walls and trees and anything else he can get his fists on. He passed out on the bus Friday while on his way to his Dr. appointment. When he awoke he realized he missed his stop. So he jumped off at the next one, only to realize after the bus drove off, that his folder with his paycheck in it was still on the bus. He called the bus company but no one turned in the folder. Poor guy can't catch a break. his birthday is on Monday and he's already stated that he doesn't want to see or talk to any one because birthday's suck and he's not celebrating. This is so totally not Robert. I'm extremely worried that he will sink into a depression and do something stupid. He's tried it twice in the past. no cheers, just fears, Juvy |

Title: Re: Update on Robert (non CH) Post by Carl_D on Jun 6th, 2004, 3:26am Neuros aren't the only screwy Docs. My sis in law just seen a basket case Endochronologist who entertained himself and his intern, while not addressing her questions. I am so sorry to hear about all of this, and hope that Robert will be well soon. I'll keep you guys in my prayers, and sending out vibes and energies. Try to stay strong. Whether he'll admit it or not, this is the time he needs you the most. Peace, Carl D |

Title: Re: Update on Robert (non CH) Post by Cerberus on Jun 6th, 2004, 3:31pm May Robert find the care he so deservedly needs. I hate it when docs do stuff to get answers and then don't get answers....kinda stupid. Happy Birthday Robert hope things improve soon. Ramon |

Title: Re: Update on Robert (non CH) Post by ClusterChuck on Jun 6th, 2004, 4:27pm Juvy, that sucks so bad!!! Damn!!! My prayers and vibes are heading your way!!! Some one once told me to remember, that the PhD after a doctor's name many times means "Piled Higher and Deeper" ... It sounds like you found one that this applies to. Chuck |

Title: Re: Update on Robert (non CH) Post by Gator on Jun 8th, 2004, 12:44pm Damn, that sucks. I ranted about doctors before. Sitting up there on high with their god complex and after you spend half your time and all your money, they can't tell you a damned thing. Never met one yet that was worth his weight in Spam. You keep an eye on that boy. Watch out for signs that another suicide attempt is coming. Some of them are a sudden calmness (that can mean he has come to a decision), giving away personal effects, preoccupation with death, taking unnecessary risks, getting one's affairs in order, over reaction to criticizm, ending significant relationships, pessimism about the future, and more. The fact that his birthday is just came and went wont help, either. "Just another year come and gone and things seem worse than ever." I know you probably know all this (clusterheads are closer to it than most people), but there may be others that don't and reading it here may help them in their own lives and with their friends and loved ones. Robert is definitely on my prayer list. Prayers and Vibes going out for him. Gator |

Title: Re: Update on Robert (non CH) Post by juvy on Jun 9th, 2004, 8:53am Thanks all, Robert isn't doing so well. He passed out at church on sunday for 5 minutes. Mom said she freaked when she couldn't get a pulse in either his arm or neck. When she listened to his chest she could just barely hear his heart beat. It took him awhile after he awoke to get his bearings. Other than going back to the GP and begging him to find someone else to help....we're at the end of our rope. ~Juvy |
