Title: verap/lith combo (again) Post by Lizzie2 on Jun 4th, 2004, 11:23am It's working for me!!! Only 2 major hits in the last couple weeks. Shadows every day, but that I can deal with a lot better! Now if I could just get the chronic headache to lower itself down a tad, things would be lovely. :) So much easier to deal with it though without getting hit right and left. My neuro may send me for a sleep study because I never sleep. Maybe that would make it a "lack of sleep" study? LOL He's starting me on Requip now, and maybe remeron in a week, but we'll see. I'm getting off the horrid tricyclics. :O) I have never known what it is like to have a preventive help me before. This truly is a Godsend...I'm so grateful for all you guys for sharing your experiences so it gives us ideas of things to try!! Hugz, Lizzie :) |

Title: Re: verap/lith combo (again) Post by Lizzie2 on Jun 4th, 2004, 5:16pm ty ty :) It has been a blessing, to say the least!! Jonny, I got my first blood tests at 2 weeks on the med, and my neuro said the levels "were within the acceptable range." He didn't order blood work this time around, but I go back pretty frequently, so we'll keep on top of it! He's really good about that. Thanks all! Hugs, Lizzie :) |

Yeah, they do the first test between two and three weeks cause it takes awhile to get into the system, I guess they want to see the first reaction to your organs. Man!, I sure hope it works as long for you as it has for me........Damn shit saved my life. ........................................jonny |
