Hi all,

Things are getting a bit better as I settle down here at nursing school. Today in clinicals, my small group of 9 students and one teacher decided to make me the resident expert on headaches. Cute. ;;D The floor we will be doing our clinicals on is the headache overflow floor for Jefferson, so I guess they have to start learning what it takes to work with headache patients.

The financial aid isn't going to come until July, but at least we know this now. I paid my rent on my apartment in State College, but I'm not paying the Philadelphia rent for now. We'll just have to see how that goes for a bit!

I got an appointment with my neuro for Thursday morning at 7:45am. Hopefully he'll be running very on time so that I won't be late for my 9am Intro to Nursing class.

I decided to be up front with my teachers here, and I emailed them to give them a brief overview of what is going on. So far the response has been pretty positive, although the deadlines are still strict for when things are due and being in class, etc.

Hopefully things will continue to get better and better!

Sounds like things are sorting out for you, one step at a time and you sound comfortable settling into this further advancement of a good future. Glad to hear pieces are coming together. Going to be a GOOD year for you. New roommate?

Lizzie sounds like you're on the upswing. This is a perfect opportunity to really hammer in all that CH knowledge you have into other people's brains.

Hm, that's pretty graphic but, um, that's the idea though isn't it?

You're doing alright kiddo...taking each "thing" with a grain of salt is good for ya.

Always good to hear some positive news. Keeping the prayers and schtuff going for you. Remember, keep your chin up and take things as they come. Don't go borrowing trouble. There'll be plenty of that come looking for you. Such is life.
