My kid came home... not because he had a 96 he could have saved his money and waited til nicer weather.  We've had a few monsoons in the short days he has been home  Not because he wanted to hang with friends.  He came home because he heard his mother needed some support...

I am truly blessed... with two wonderful sons.  Great boys that have a sense of country, love and family.
I have seen and heard proof of that this week.    

Not the murderers that the Kerry camp is trying to portray them as.
 I recieved an email from someone a week ago stating that if we voted for Kerry our troops would stop embarrassing us...that they are murdering and raping over in Iraq, Can you imagine it was sent to me by a "friend".? Then this friend went on to say I whined to him.....why because my son is a helicopter pilot fighting for Iraqi freedom......in HELL???  
  I HAVE ALOT OF FRIENDS. I AM FROM MASSACHUSETTS...
 I wrote to the Kerry Campaign and they are looking into why such an email was sent to me... and from whom.  They don't want supporters like you "friend".
 
I KNOW YOU READ THE BOARD "FRIEND"  and under assumed names.  Know this... I HAVE A WONDERFUL SET OF SONS.......... I AM SO PROUD OF THESE GUYS. YOU WILL NEVER KNOW THE PRIDE THAT I FEEL.  

Ya.......... my son is home.........God bless these Soldiers that show their love for their country, home and family.
God Bless America..............

On this Memorial Day Weekend remember our lost brave soldiers... and remember the Taliban hates  the USA.

I'm thrilled that Sean is home, and hope you enjoy every moment of his arrival!!!

Thanks for sharing your joyous news with us, and for NOT letting a person too ignorant to sign their name ruin any of it for you.

Give Sean a great big hug for me, and tell him I'm extremely happy he made it home safe. Thank him also for protecting me!!!!!

Great news Ree.  Tell "friend" that they can kiss your bum.  And if that's not enough, this old veteran, is damn proud of your boys and thousands just like 'em, and it wouldn't bother me too much to put a boot up your "friends" hindquarters, on their behalf.  ;;D

We're all proud of this kid.........kid? Not for some time.

Ree....mom to mom...I don't know how you can stand it when they're away from home fighting in another country.  God bless you for being the mother of sons who are so patriotic and devoted.  You and Dave have done a wonderful job.

Sean....There's no way for us to thank you for what you and your brother are doing for us.  We can just keep you, and all of the others,  in our hearts and prayers (which we do) and wait for you to come home.  God be with you.

Thanks for all the well wishing........... I am so excited to have Sean home............ but you guys.............LOL

Scott is still there!  Isnt it confusing... their names are Scott and Sean and they look and act like clones... but
Scott is the helicopter pilot currently serving in Iraq...
and he just called me to say that... he got a promotion to Chief Warrant Officer 2  pretty cool huh...

I'm just mom #1 proud, as usual and even prouder to be a part of this CH  family. Sorry for my earlier rant... I would die for my children... I am sure there are many of you that feel the same way about yours.  After hearing the many heroic stories of the past few days.  I just am in awe of the sacrifice these guys make everyday... not just my boys but many men and women from many walks of life...  Thanks  and remember Samauri (Jason) too.......... He is missed here............ love Ree

A big thank you first to you and Dave for raising sons that are willing to stand up for our country.  I am so glad Sean came home to see you, and I'm praying Scott will return safely too.  Great news about the prmotion.

May I volunteer my boot as well?  I have a son, 18, who will enter college in the fall, but plans to enlist in the Marine Corps come spring.  I insisted that he get at least one year of school behind him, but he cannot wait to get in.  He would be happy to add two boots if you would like! ;;D

Sorry I missed this.  Been gone a few days.  I am very happy to hear that Sean is home and safe.  I can only pray that Scott will be safely home as well.  It gives me hope for my own son when I hear of people coming home alive and well.

Let them both know they are in my thoughts and prayers.  And tell them thanks for serving from one tired old soldier.
